Ultimate Ninjas Academy Barrington Opens Its Doors with Obstacle-Based Programs for Children Ages 6 Months to 10 Years
(Barrington, IL – April 16, 2026) The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) recently welcomed Ultimate Ninjas Academy Barrington with a ribbon cutting ceremony held on Wednesday, April 8. Located at 530 N. Hough St. in Barrington, the new facility introduces a dynamic, play-based fitness experience designed to support the growth and development of young children in the community.
Ultimate Ninjas provides a fun, safe, and high-energy experience for children ages 6 months through 10 years old. Built around obstacle course training, programs focus on helping kids develop confidence, strength, coordination, and social skills through active play. With a philosophy centered on fitness, each session is thoughtfully designed to support physical and social-emotional development.
The facility features custom-built, age-appropriate obstacle courses where children can balance, swing, and climb. In addition to improving gross motor skills, activities are designed to encourage problem-solving, decision-making, and resilience as participants work through challenges at their own pace.
Ultimate Ninjas Academy Barrington offers a wide range of programs including ninja classes, open play sessions, birthday parties, summer camps, and special events. Classes are organized by age group, including Mini Ninjas (1–2 years), Lil Ninjas (3–5 years), and Junior Ninjas (6–10 years), with small class sizes that allow for individualized attention and a nurturing learning environment.
For those seeking a more advanced experience, the Academy also offers an Elite Team program. This group of dedicated participants trains together, builds strength, and prepares for competition through focused practice. Elite Team members receive exclusive training time, a weekly obstacle class, unlimited weekend Open Play, and opportunities to compete in events designed for advanced ninjas.
The sport of ninja is gaining global momentum and growing in popularity, emerging as a competitive discipline on the world stage with plans to debut at the 2028 Olympics. With this rising interest, now is a great time for children to get involved, as programs like Ultimate Ninjas Academy Barrington help build strength, agility, and confidence to be part of this expanding sport.
