FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Lolo’s Bowls Lake Zurich Marks Successful First Year with Ribbon Cutting Celebration
(Barrington, IL – December 22, 2025) The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce gathered with local officials,
community members, and the Lolo’s Bowls team on December 9 to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their
Lake Zurich location at 34 E. Main St. The ceremony recognized a successful first year for the locally owned
small business, known for its Signature Soft Serve Açaí made from premium organic Açaí and fruit juices. The
menu features dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO options, along with fresh toppings and a full
selection of smoothies.
Lolo’s Bowls opened its first shop in Libertyville three years ago, where the family introduced their fresh,
Hawaii-inspired concept and quickly found a community that embraced it. As interest grew, the team opened
the Lake Zurich location to welcome even more guests to the Lolo’s Bowls experience. The Lake Zurich
location, set along Main St., has since become a bright and welcoming addition to the revitalized downtown
district, offering families a place to gather and enjoy their signature bowls and smoothies.
Since opening, Lolo’s Bowls has earned a loyal following not only from residents but also from members of the
Chicago Bears. Former quarterback Justin Fields first discovered the Libertyville location by chance and quickly
became a regular during the offseason. His preferred order includes an açaí base topped with strawberries,
bananas, honey, granola, cacao nibs, coconut shreds and the shop’s signature granola butter.
As the Lake Zurich shop marks its first anniversary, the Lolo’s Bowls team reflected on the role community
support has played in the business’s continued momentum. Founder Lauren “Lolo” Schick emphasized the
importance of those relationships. “Lolo’s Bowls is built on the support of the communities we serve. Our first
location opened in my hometown of Libertyville, where local support laid the foundation for our growth. In Lake
Zurich, Adam Garvannian (owner and manager of the local shop) and his team have developed a genuine
connection to the community, making this milestone especially meaningful – particularly following an extended
period of Main Street construction. As we prepare to expand into Glenview, we are grateful for every review,
referral, and catering order that continues to support our success.”
Lolo’s Bowls welcomes the community to stop in and enjoy their fresh bowls and smoothies at the Lake Zurich
location. They are open Monday–Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
