Pathways Learning Academy Opens at Willow Creek Church in South Barrington
(Barrington, IL – April 22, 2025) The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) joined staff and community members on Wednesday, April 9, to celebrate the official ribbon cutting for Pathways Learning Academy, a new early education center now open inside Willow Creek Community Church at 67 E. Algonquin Rd. in South Barrington.
Serving children from infancy through Pre-K, Pathways Learning Academy delivers thoughtful care and education tailored to each child’s unique needs, helping them grow with confidence and prepare for kindergarten. The center’s curriculum is rooted in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math) blended with purposeful play, hands-on discovery, and meaningful connections.
At the heart of Pathways is a team of inspiring educators who are passionate about early learning and committed to creating developmentally appropriate, engaging experiences for every child. Teachers receive ongoing support through a robust slate of professional development opportunities, including a nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, and the Master Teacher Program, ensuring the highest quality education in every classroom.
“We’re so proud to welcome families into this nurturing and engaging space where children can grow, learn, and thrive,” said Nancy Moya, School Director. “It’s truly a joy to partner with Willow Creek Church and serve the South Barrington community. Our team is passionate about creating an environment that supports each child’s development while giving parents peace of mind.”
To help meet the needs of busy families, Pathways offers both full-time and part-time enrollment options that provide flexibility without compromising on quality of care. Parents stay connected throughout the day with the exclusive SproutAbout® app, which offers real-time updates and live streaming video from the classroom.
In addition to daily learning experiences, the school offers enrichment programs such as Spanish and yoga, as well as Wondercamp, a summer adventure filled with friendship, field trips, and fun. Weekly faith-based activities are also part of the school’s experience, guided by a dedicated member of the church’s ministry team.
Pathways Learning Academy is now enrolling for preschool, pre-K, and summer programs. For more information or to schedule a visit, go to www.pathwayslearningacademy.com.
