Acclaimed Chef Robert Gadsby Debuts Restaurant Noe in Downtown Barrington
(Barrington, IL – June 16, 2025) On Thursday, June 5, the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting to mark the grand opening of Restaurant Noe, the highly anticipated solo venture from Chef Robert Noe Gadsby. Located at 117 S. Hough St., the restaurant introduces Gadsby’s award-winning culinary perspective to Barrington, with a seasonal tasting menu and an exclusive supper club experience.
With only 25 seats, Noe delivers an intimate, chef-led experience rooted in creativity, precision, and a respect for seasonal ingredients. The evening begins with hors d’oeuvres and champagne before guests are guided through a five-course tasting menu, available in omnivore and vegetarian formats, crafted to highlight the peak flavors of each season. The current summer menu features standout ingredients such as heirloom tomatoes, sweet corn, fresh seafood, and stone fruits, prepared with vibrant, expressive techniques that let the ingredients speak for themselves.
Chef Gadsby brings decades of experience and critical acclaim to this new chapter. He has earned praise from Bon Appétit, Los Angeles Magazine, and the Los Angeles Times, and was named “Chef of the Year” by Robb Report. His previous restaurants have received “Best Restaurant” honors from Houston Press, and he has appeared on Iron Chef America and Bizarre Foods, earning a reputation for thoughtful, forward-thinking cuisine.
Adding to the experience, Noe offers a monthly Signature Supper Club starting at $125. Members receive a three-course regional American dinner for two or four, prepared by the Noe culinary team and available for pick-up or delivery within the Barrington area. Optional beverage pairings, exclusive content, and early access to special events and reservations are also included.
“This restaurant is the culmination of years of vision and persistence,” said Gadsby. “I’m honored to bring something truly personal to Barrington, an experience that invites guests to slow down, savor the moment, and enjoy food that speaks for itself.”
